Thomas Ciulla

Tom Ciulla moved to New Hampshire when he retired about 20 years ago. He calls himself “an old biker.” After a serious motorcycle accident 12 years ago, he turned to art while recovering, first in pencil, then shortly after with watercolor. He is totally self-taught, reading books on art technique and following a wide range of artists.

Tom is now a vagabond artist – traveling to parks, to pubs and to coffee shops where he listens to music, engages with people and creates his art. He uses watercolor pens, since he can take them anywhere. His art reflects his passion for life, with splashes of color that bring alive the beautiful back roads and fascinating people he meets. He has taught various classes over the years and is a member of the Nashua Area Artists Association and the Hollis Art Society.
